I’ve been working on building a family tree in Ancestry for a number of years. Now that I have a little time on my hands and I still have pretty good recall, I’d like to fill in some of the gaps so that interested family and friends might benefit from what I remember about the places I’ve lived and the family members I grew up with. 

This is not a memoir or autobiography, but a series of recollections and images that members of my family might find interesting and that I’d like to put down before they fade away. If you’re looking for embarrassing or scandalous anecdotes, you’ve come to the wrong place.
